Insights

Meet the AWX2 — our densest forged Cybertruck wheel design, built for a clean look, simple tire planning, and confident daily driving.
AWX2 is the densest-spoke forged design in the Atomic Wheels Cybertruck lineup — chosen by drivers who want a fuller, more refined wheel face on the truck's flat sheetmetal. The 22 × 9.5" +45 setup keeps Cybertruck tire planning straightforward. OEM 285/55R22 stays the primary recommendation, with 295/55R22 as a close alternative under a 2% diameter change. 6×139.7 bolt pattern and 84.1 mm center bore lock AWX2 fitment to the Cybertruck while preserving OEM TPMS and lug-nut compatibility. Lower unsprung weight versus heavier cast and OEM wheels helps a heavy EV truck feel sharper at the steering wheel and more responsive during braking and acceleration.

Engineered for Cybertruck Presence

Dense forged spokes. FEA validation. Cybertruck-ready details.

Cybertruck-Ready Design

AWX2's deep multi-spoke face elevates the Cybertruck's flat panels with a dense, modern look — strong presence without breaking the truck's silhouette.

Forged for Power

Each AWX2 is CNC-machined from a single forged 6061-T6 billet — denser grain, higher strength, and lower weight than cast wheels for daily and heavy EV-truck use.

Tested to Perfection

Finite Element Analysis validates spoke and barrel geometry before production, so the AWX2 is shipped ready to handle Cybertruck loads and real-world impacts.

Knurled Bead Seat

A knurled bead seat textures the tire-to-wheel contact, helping the tire stay seated under hard acceleration, braking, and off-pavement Cybertruck use.

Light by Design

Each AWX2 is targeted-machined to keep mass where the wheel needs strength and remove it where it doesn't — roughly 37.5 lbs per wheel for a 22-inch Cybertruck forged setup.

Cybertruck Fitment

AWX2 is built around Cybertruck hardware: 6x139.7 PCD, 84.1 mm center bore, +45 offset, and OEM TPMS / lug-nut compatibility for straightforward install.

Tire Fitment Guide

AWX2 Cybertruck 22×9.5 +45 recommended tire sizes.
Wheel Size Setup Tesla Cybertruck
22×9.5 +45 OEM diameter 285/55R22
22×9.5 +45 Approved alternative 295/55R22

For the Cybertruck, the OEM 285/55R22 tire remains the primary recommendation. A 295/55R22 tire is a practical alternative with less than a 2% diameter change compared with OEM sizing.

FAQ

What is the difference between a forged rim and a flow-formed rim?

The main difference between forged and flow-formed rims lies in their manufacturing processes and materials. Forged rims, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, are formed under extreme pressure and then precisely machined using CNC technology, resulting in ultra-strong, lightweight wheels ideal for high performance. Flow-formed rims, also known as spin-formed, start with a cast mold and are shaped using hydraulic pressure and rotation. This enhances the strength of cast rims while maintaining a more affordable price point, offering a solid balance of performance and cost.

Where do you make the wheels?

The factory where we manufacture the rims is in China. They are made with state-of-the-art technology, subjected to rigorous safety and quality control processes.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes, we ship worldwide. However, purchasing a rim in stock can be expensive due to shipping costs. Therefore, we recommend placing a custom order where items are shipped directly from the factory to reduce costs. In this way you will get the same price worldwide, because the rims will be delivered from the factory.

What Tire Sizes Do You Recommend for Installing Your Rims?

We recommend sticking with OEM sizes for the best performance and fit. However, there is often some room for alternatives based on your specific needs and preferences. We’re happy to help with any questions and guide you in choosing the best tire size for your setup.

What Are Your Cancellation Policies if I Want a Refund on My Pre-Order?

If you’ve made a pre-order payment, you can cancel your order and request a refund at any time before the shipment is processed.

How Long Does It Take to Receive an Order After Making a Purchase?

We ship orders twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays using UPS Ground. Typically, it takes 2-5 business days for wheels to be delivered after shipment.

Can I Pick Up the Rims Directly if I’m Near Your Location?

Yes, you can pick up the rims directly if you’re near our location. Please note that Texas sales tax will be applied to in-state sales.

Are Your Center Caps Compatible with the OEM Ones?

Most of our center caps are 65mm, so they are not compatible with the OEM center caps.
