Amazing Quality and Top Notch Service

I drive a 2024 Model Y Performance in Rochester, NY, and anyone who lives here knows the stock 21" wheels with that 35 profile tire are basically asking for trouble. What made my situation worse was that I bought my car from Carvana with only 5k miles on it, and one of the wheels was already bent. I had a shaking steering wheel at highway speeds and needed to deal with it before winter hit.
After some research I landed on Atomic Wheels and connected with Ricardo. From the first conversation, he was knowledgeable and patient. I wanted to downsize to a 20" wheel with a 45 profile to get more sidewall and reduce the chance of bending again, and he pointed me toward the AWZZ forged wheels. He mentioned two things that sealed the deal for me: first, the AWZZ is one of their most popular models and has long-term staying power. Second, and this is the part that really got me, Atomic keeps the design files for every wheel they have ever made. So even if the model was ever discontinued, they could fabricate a replacement to order. Lead time could be around two months, but the option exists. That kind of commitment to their product is rare.
I ordered the AWZZ 20x9.5 in gloss black with ceramic coating, new TPMS sensors, and the plastic lug nut caps. One thing worth noting for other Model Y Performance owners: I went with a square setup, meaning the same wheel and tire size all around rather than staggered. That was intentional since I fully plan to rotate them. I'm running Michelin CrossClimate 2 265/45R20 all the way around. The stock front wheels on the MYP are 255/35, so the new setup is slightly wider and slightly taller (about 29.4" overall diameter versus the stock 29"). There is a tiny bit of rubbing up front, which I want to be upfront about. It is very minor and something to be aware of if you go this route, but for the ability to rotate and the added sidewall protection it is absolutely worth it to me.
Atomic shipped everything directly to my installation shop, which made the whole process seamless. When the wheels arrived, I was genuinely impressed. Light, beautiful, and packed extremely well.
They are on the car now and I could not be happier. Highly recommend Ricardo and the whole Atomic Wheels team.

So, first all of the wheels are awesome. Second - when UPS damaged one of the wheels on delivery, the team promptly stepped in to engineer a replacement. I got these because I really wanted to track the car, and wanted something strong, light and a bit wider than usual. They worked with me on the design selection and offsets, and the result speaks for itself. Great team. Great product. Did need 4 mm offsets front to make this work. I would go with them again.

Just bought these to replace my stock 21in performance wheels. I went with the bronze set to help my car stand out and give it an 'Iron Man" look. I live locally and stopped by thier shop. Nice guys and very helpful.

The wheels are lighter and look great. I bent three of my OEM wheels on my 2026 Model Y Performance at various times since December. Constant road construction and general potholiness? are not a good mix for ultra low profile tires.

So far these wheels feel great and give me much more peace of mind for my 110 mile daily commute.
