Insights

The AWSR gives Rivian R1T/R1S owners a clean forged 20-inch setup with practical tire choices and a sharper visual stance.
AWSR is set up as a Rivian-focused wheel, not a generic truck fitment: the 20×8.5 +48 spec keeps the wheel centered around R1T/R1S geometry. The 20-inch platform keeps tire planning practical. Stay close to the OEM 275/65R20 diameter or use 275/60R20 as an efficiency-focused alternative. The forged construction and 2580 lb load rating are selected for the real weight and use case of an EV truck that may see daily miles, highway trips, and trail access. Five finish choices let the same Rivian fitment logic work across different builds, from quiet Satin Black to warmer Bronze or Titan looks.

Rivian R1T/R1S Fitment

Built around the Rivian R1 platform with 20×8.5 +48 sizing, 5×139.7 PCD, and 64.1 mm center bore.

AWSR Satin Black Face

The new AWSR split-spoke face gives R1T/R1S a technical forged look with a clean Satin Black finish.

Forged Barrel Detail

A forged barrel profile keeps the wheel strong while maintaining the refined detail expected from the AWSR design.

Knurled Bead Seats

Knurled bead seats add mechanical grip at the tire bead to help resist tire slip under load, acceleration, braking, and lower-pressure use.

Five-Finish Program

Satin Black, Gloss Black, Satin Gunmetal, Satin Bronze, and Titan options let the same Rivian fitment match different builds.

2580 LB Load Rating

A 2580 lb per-wheel load rating supports the real-world demands of a heavy EV truck platform.

Tire Fitment Guide Rivian R1T/R1S

Recommended tire sizes for the AWSR 20×8.5 +48 Rivian fitment:
Wheel Size Setup Rivian R1T Rivian R1S
20×8.5 +48 OEM diameter 275/65R20 275/65R20
20×8.5 +48 Efficiency alternative 275/60R20 275/60R20

For an efficiency-focused alternative on 20-inch wheels, 275/60R20 closely matches the diameter of Rivian 21-inch OEM tires and usually does not require vehicle reprogramming.

FAQ

What is the difference between a forged rim and a flow-formed rim?

The main difference between forged and flow-formed rims lies in their manufacturing processes and materials. Forged rims, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, are formed under extreme pressure and then precisely machined using CNC technology, resulting in ultra-strong, lightweight wheels ideal for high performance. Flow-formed rims, also known as spin-formed, start with a cast mold and are shaped using hydraulic pressure and rotation. This enhances the strength of cast rims while maintaining a more affordable price point, offering a solid balance of performance and cost.

Where do you make the wheels?

The factory where we manufacture the rims is in China. They are made with state-of-the-art technology, subjected to rigorous safety and quality control processes.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Yes, we ship worldwide. However, purchasing a rim in stock can be expensive due to shipping costs. Therefore, we recommend placing a custom order where items are shipped directly from the factory to reduce costs. In this way you will get the same price worldwide, because the rims will be delivered from the factory.

What Tire Sizes Do You Recommend for Installing Your Rims?

We recommend sticking with OEM sizes for the best performance and fit. However, there is often some room for alternatives based on your specific needs and preferences. We’re happy to help with any questions and guide you in choosing the best tire size for your setup.

What Are Your Cancellation Policies if I Want a Refund on My Pre-Order?

If you’ve made a pre-order payment, you can cancel your order and request a refund at any time before the shipment is processed.

How Long Does It Take to Receive an Order After Making a Purchase?

We ship orders twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays using UPS Ground. Typically, it takes 2-5 business days for wheels to be delivered after shipment.

Can I Pick Up the Rims Directly if I’m Near Your Location?

Yes, you can pick up the rims directly if you’re near our location. Please note that Texas sales tax will be applied to in-state sales.

Are Your Center Caps Compatible with the OEM Ones?

Most of our center caps are 65mm, so they are not compatible with the OEM center caps.
